Bulwell Viaduct arching over Midland Railway tracks

Here four arches of the Bulwell Viaduct cross the Midland Railway Company's double line. Note the steam navvy at work on embankment walls to the right of tracks. This brick arch structure carried tracks forming part of Logan and Hemmingway's Annesley to Leake contract, constructed between 1894 and 1899. See on Route Map
