An unidentified culvert.

The route of the London Extension included many culverts such as this one. In many cases, they were built to carry the railway over already established streams, but sometimes these water courses were diverted quite considerably to improve the route's engineering. This example of a brick arch culvert is believed to be in Northamptonshire, but its exact location is unknown.
