Waiting Rooms at Rothley Station

This building once housed the original Ladies and General Waiting Rooms. It was divided into two separate rooms with a door at either end of the building. The Ladies Waiting Room was the south room, while green door shown here was the entrance to the General Waiting Room. Since restoration by the Main Line Steam Trust, the northern room still acts as a general waiting room, and the old Ladies Waiting Room is now a refreshment room. This south facing images was captured on 19th July 2002. The small building beyond the waiting room is the Gentlemen's toilet block. See on Route Map
