Unidentified station under construction

Looking north past an upset tipping wagon towards the construction of an unidentified Great Central station. Built to a typical London Extension design, the station's single island platform extended from the other side of the bridge's central brick pier. Passengers would reach the platform via a staircase which led down from the centre of the bridge. The small window has been fitted for the modest store/ mess room contained within the pier. Note the narrow gauge contractor's rails on the left, and the plate girder bridge visible along the cutting. See on Route Map
