Chiltern Court and Baker Street Underground station
Euston Road facade of Chiltern Court and Baker Street Underground station. In addition to its nine housing estates in Metro-Land, the Metropolitan Railway commissioned this substantial building in the heart of London. Together with 180 high-class residential flats, the property also boasted a restaurant capable of seating 250 guests, a hairdressing salon and 30 separate rooms for staff accommodation. Authors H. G.
