Great Central bridge over the Midland Railway near Cosby, Leicestershire

This is bridge 405, a girder structure situated south of Cosby that was erected to carry the London Extension across the Midland Counties Railway (later Midland Railway) that ran from Leicester to Rugby. The bridge's lattice work iron parapet is a distinctive feature of the Last Main Line. See on Route Map
