High Wycombe Station under construction

This is a fine view of High Wycombe Station, photographed around 1903 during its conversion for use on the Great Western & Great Central Joint Line. The existing Great Western station was substantially rebuilt as part of the Joint Railway scheme, a project that provided the Great Central with a faster route into London. Here, the iron work for the station canopy is almost complete. See on Route Map
