Site of GCR viaduct near Weekday Cross in Nottingham
The long straight section of this concrete viaduct is built on the site of the old Great Central viaduct (Bridge 288) near Weekday Cross in Nottingham. The old viaduct was pulled down to make way for this structure, which has been built to carry the new Nottingham Express Transit tram system. The photograph was taken, facing south, from Weekday Cross in September 2002. See on Route Map
