Great Central Railway Hunting map
This handsome coloured sketch map folds out from the leaflet produced by the Great Central Railway in 1902 entitled 'Hunting Arrangements'. It shows the route of the London Extension as it passes through the boundaries of six fox hunts. The black dots mark the locations of the meets. In the top right corner are the prices of the company's First Class hunting season tickets. The most expensive of these was a six month ticket for journeys between Marylebone and Loughborough. It cost £21, a substantial sum in 1902.
