S. W. A. Newton

L1176. This is the man responsible for the Newton Collection - S. W. A. Newton. He was photographed circa 1947 in the garden of a friend. His style of dress, with the bowler hat and pinstripe trousers, was his trademark and many people remember him dressed in such a way. Newton died in 1960, aged 85.
